Bismillah! Ramadan is finally here! ✨ A month of barakah, reflection, and growth. But before we dive in, let’s take a moment to set our intentions and prepare our hearts for the journey ahead.

Why Intentions Matter

The Prophet ﷺ said something to the effect that:
Actions are but by intentions, and every man shall have only that which he intended. Bukhari & Muslim)

This means that even our daily tasks—cooking iftar, working, or taking care of our kids—can become acts of worship if we renew our intentions for the sake of Allah.

How to Set Powerful Intentions for Ramadan

Here are a few ways to start this blessed month with clarity and purpose:

💡 1. Intend to Seek Allah’s Pleasure
Whether through fasting, praying, or giving charity, remind yourself that everything is for Him.

📝 2. Write Down Your Ramadaan Goals

  • How many pages of the Qur’an will you read daily?
  • What good habits do you want to build?
  • How will you manage your time wisely?

📿 3. Make a Dua List
Create a dua list for yourself, your family, and the Ummah. Make time daily to sincerely ask Allah for your needs.

💛 4. Keep It Simple & Sustainable
Don’t overwhelm yourself with too many goals. Start small and remain consistent. Even one extra act of worship daily brings immense reward!
